Making A Purchase

Browse through our product catalogue and, if you see something you'd like to purchase, click on the "Add to Cart" button to put your items into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on "Checkout" where you can confirm or change your purchases and give us your details to allow us to process your order.

We accept Major UK Credit & Debit Cards. We do not charge for any item until it is ready to ship.

Ownership of the product(s) will not pass to you until you have paid in full, in cleared funds the price of the product(s) and any other sums which may be due.

Shipping And Handling

We now accept orders from Europe and Worldwide over the phone. Please call our sales team on +44 8700 361101 to discuss your shipping costs. This will help us to provide you with a cost-effective shipping method.

All mainland UK orders over £200 (ex. VAT) will be shipped for FREE.

Re-TekDIRECT ship via a qualified carrier. Please order by 2:30pm to ensure processing for next day delivery.

It is strongly advised that you carry separate inbound insurance. Business carrier insurance charge is £1.50 per £100 of product value which cover for loss of product and damages. It is for this reason that we strongly suggest that you have extra insurance to cover you for such a situation.

Re-TekDIRECT relies upon the services of reputable third party couriers, and whilst we endeavour to "keep to our word" there are unfortunately a few occasions when the couriers fail to perform the service that they are required to. This happens rarely, but because it does occur, we cannot be held responsible for the late delivery of an item.

If a shipment is refused for any reason, customer is responsible for the freight charge incurred. Re-Tek UK Ltd also reserve the right to charge a 20% restocking fee. Any parcel delivered to the address given by the customer and signed for at this address by the customer or other party on their behalf is deemed a confirmed delivery. Re-TekDIRECT takes no responsibility for the loss of goods if it comes under a confirmed delivery.

Delivery Schedule

If your order is received before 2:30pm, we will process your order immediately. Orders received after 2:30pm will be processed the following day. You should, in most cases, receive your order the following day. International orders are generally received in three to five days.

Back Orders

If your item is not in stock, we will contact you by email in the first instance to inform you that stock is depleted. For this reason, please ensure that the email address you supply when ordering is one that you check frequently. We WILL NOT use this address for any other purposes, nor will it be sold, passed-on or otherwise exploited.

Tax Charges

For orders made from the UK or the European Union, 17.5% VAT is added. All other orders are VAT-free and you should click the exempt button to reduce VAT to zero.

Credit Card Security

All credit card numbers are encrypted in the software when the order is placed using 128 bit encryption. They are only decrypted after they reach our computer. They are not held in clear text on any web site. We are currently using RBOS's Streamline.

Guarantee

If there is a Manufacturer Direct Warranty, we require that you return the product directly to the Manufacturer, unless the unit was DOA (within 7 days after receipt).

Re-TekDIRECT cannot warrant an item that has been improperly used, modified or physically damaged.

Re-TekDIRECT cannot warrant any product as fit for any particular use or purpose. We strongly recommend customers evaluate a sample unit (which is chargeable) to determine by their criteria whether a product will work in their configuration. In the world of computers there are many products that may be incompatible with a certain brand or certain parts. It is your responsibility to ensure the product you are purchasing is compatible with your system. We are unable to take parts back because they are incompatible. A restocking charge of 20% of the invoice value will be charged if the product is found to be fully working after we have tested your returned product(s). It is your responsibility to pay for the returned carriage back to Re-Tek UK Ltd address in East Kilbride.

Privacy Policy

Re-TekDIRECT do not disclose buyers' information to third parties. Cookies are used on this shopping site to keep track of the contents of your shopping cart once you have selected an item, to store delivery addresses if the address book is used and to store your details if you select the 'Remember Me' Option.

Returns Policy

All sales are final. Returns of product, other than with defect, are subject to a 20% restocking fee. No returns are allowed after 30 days after receipt or specified warranty time.

Warranties may be limited on some items. Please check our sales literature and your invoice to verify the warranty is as expected. In general we give a 30 day money back or exchange warranty on our products.

Returns are allowed, but only if we are contacted within 24 hours after receipt, for any orders that are not to your expectation. Returns after this time period are at the complete discretion of Re-TekDIRECT and may incur a substantial restock fee.

Any damages arising from a defective product to be limited to a refund of the purchase price only. Defective items will be replaced with either a repaired or refurbished unit (even for DOA's). If no replacement unit available within 30 days, we will issue a credit memo. A credit memo can be refunded by cheque if not used on an order for 30 days. RMA credits are for product only and do NOT include any reimbursement for shipping charges.
Any items sent back for warranty repair must have been tested bad prior to returning the part. Any third party found to have tested the goods will invalidate the RMA and the warranty. We will charge a service fee should we find a returned item in working condition.

Should you need to return any product purchased because of non working product, you must contact us to obtain an RMA number, This RMA number must be on the out side of the return shipment and on any communications. RMA Numbers are valid from 14 days after being issued. After you get an RMA number, please send the item(s) back to Re-Tek UK immediately.

Customer MUST CAREFULLY PACK defective items being returned, as if they were new and working. FAILURE TO DO SO may invalidate both the RMA and the warranty.

Your statutory rights are not affected.
